The following photograph shows the upstairs hall in Silverwells House before it was refurbished. The hall was one of the few areas habitable and here we see Maria sitting have a chat with young Ian, Mark, Danny and Joe Baird. You can see the re-wiring work underway on the left of the fore-ground.

This was taken in Silverwells from the hall into the old kitchen back in about 1995. Sorry the photo isn't that sharp! John is a family friend who has stayed with us for some 8 years or more.
