Almost any praise music gives our spirit a lift. Joyful, praising music was always important. Recently, Maria used to come into the kitchen and start dancing when she heard the Toploader single - Dancing in the Moonlight. Maria and music and dancing just go together. She'll be dancing in heaven just now - no doubt.

Maria enjoyed classical songs from the well-known tenors like Pavarotti and more recently Russell Watson.

Maria's favourite music was however when she was listening to the music and songs that her kids played. It meant so much to her and she enjoyed it thoroughly.

Her party-piece song was 'Summertime'. And she could be relied on singing at any parties she went to... as she equally enjoyed singing at masses in St Columbas.
